Child Development Center Hours 

***NOTE: CENTER HOURS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.  

The MJC Child Development Center has four classroom buildings that serve children ages 12 months to five years of age (Pre-Kindergarten).  Priority is given to MJC students who are income eligible.  We are located on the West Campus, 2201 Blue Gum Ave Modesto, CA 95358.  

Infant/Toddler Program (575-6950)

Monday - Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Friday 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Early Headstart (575-6918)

AM 1/2 Day Session

Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 noon

PM 1/2 Day Session

Monday - Friday - 12:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Full Day Program

Monday - Thursday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Our programs operate under contracts with the Child Development Division of the California Department of Education and Stanislaus County Office of Education, in accordance with the Funding Terms and Conditions.  Parents also have the opportunity to pay for non-subsidized preschool spaces.  We are licensed by the Community Care Licensing Division of the California State Department of Social Services, and operate in collaboration with the Child Development Instructional Program of the Family & Consumer Sciences Department of Modesto Junior College.
