The infant program serves children ages 12 months to 18 months of age. Children are cared for by primary caregivers that provide nurturing relationships and continuity of care. Parents must furnish diapers for each child. You will not be allowed to leave your child at the center if these diapers are not supplied. You can choose to go purchase the items needed and return to drop off your child or take your child home for the day.
Infants are
divided into primary groups to provide individual nurturing relationships with
caregivers. The small groups and
their primary caregivers are posted in each room.
Daily records are kept on your child’s individual bottle-feeding, nap
times, meals, diaper changes and bowel movements. Please assist us by talking to staff about your expectations
for nap times and sleeping patterns or if your child is having any
difficulties at home. Your child’s
individual schedule will be followed for napping, eating and diapering.
To
further assure your baby’s health, staff and visitors take off their shoes
and put on booties or slippers inside the classroom, to keep the floors clean
from daily debris.
