Check out the renovated MJC Auditorium as MAPS returns to this venue with science presentations for people of all ages. The discovery of planets orbiting stars other than our sun ranks as one of the most exciting, intriguing and interesting discoveries of the last few decades. A member of the discovery team, Dr. Chris McCarthy, will bring us cutting edge results of the search for extra-solar planets. Immediately after the presentation, the Great Valley Museum will have an astronomy open house with telescopic viewing of the moon and other wonders of the sky.
