Welcome
to the
Office Administration Center |
The Office Administration Center (OAC) offers open-entry/open-exit Office Administration courses in an individualized, hands-on format. The short, carefully prepared units of instruction allow for flexible scheduling and ongoing enrollment well into the semester. Your hours may vary from day to day and you may be scheduled for more than one hour per day. Therefore, each course can be completed as rapidly as your capabilities and/or commitments allow.

Textbooks and Supplies
You will need to purchase the appropriate textbook before starting a course in the OAC. You may be required to purchase a Scantron for testing and a flash drive to use in the computer. All your supplies may be purchased at the MJC Bookstore.
Assistance in the OAC
When you come to the OAC with course textbooks and supplies, the Instructional Packet for your course will be given to you. Orientation Sessions
Students registering for open-entry/open-exit courses must attend a course-specific orientation at the start of each semester.
See the orientation sessions listed below and choose a session/time that includes the number of your course. For example, if you are enrolled in OFADM 353, choose a block of time that includes the number 353. Only the first 40 attendees will be admitted.
NOTE: If you are enrolled in multiple courses including a keyboarding course (201, 202, 203, 301, 302, or 303), you are required to attend only one orientation, but it must be a keyboarding orientation.
Attention keyboarding students (those enrolled in OFADM 201, 202, 203, 302, or 303): Immediately following the orientations, you will be required to demonstrate your keyboarding ability to determine if you meet the speed requirements for each of these courses.
