Objectives - The purpose of the workshop is to provide students and instructors with an introduction to the part of the internet that addresses the Hispanic way of life.

The areas of emphasis for this particular workshop will be on:

  • A quick introduction to the web(Red)
  • Search engines
  • The Hispanic Net Hunt - a separate paper to research this next week

    Spend the week looking for treasure on the net
  • Next week we compare notes - if everything is working!

    The Internet is a huge place and can be very foreboding to a beginning student or faculty researcher. Finding information is what many of use want to do in the huge expanse of cyberspace.
