Browser Incompatibilities
ToolBook Java enhanced web pages must be viewed with a Java enabled browser. Java enabled web browsers include:
  • Netscape 3.01 and above
  • Internet Explorer 3 and above

There are Java incompatibilities with Netscape 3.0. ToolBook's Java classes do not function in this version.

Netscape 4 changed its implementation of Java. If you are testing with Netscape 4, read this information before you try to test your files.

ToolBook's export to HTML uses complex table structures that may view differently depending on which browser you are using. Internet Explorer will view your files closer to your original design. Netscape may alter the layout slightly.

Test your pages in different browsers, and at different screen resolutions. If possible, test your files on a different machine than the one you created them on.
