Neuron Installation Problems

If you encounter an error message during installation that states something like: "Unable to decompress %s. Not enough room in the Temp folder." Try following these directions given to us by Asymetrix support.

There are two things we should look at regarding the TEMP directory. First, does it exist? Is there a C:\DOS on the machine. If it doesn't then we should create a new directory on the machine (call it C:\TEMP though -- the temp directory should have a directory dedicated to it entirely).

Second we should delete all the files that currently exist in the temporary directory that are not in use. In the case of C:\DOS, I don't recommend deleting the files in that directory. Change your TEMP line to TEMP=C:\TEMP and create a C:\TEMP directory on your machine or, if it is already there, delete all the files that are not in used. Last Friday I got this error installing Neuron on my machine and solved the problem by deleting the files in my TEMP directory.
