Email: Dr. Daniel Daniel's Spring 2005 and Fall 2004 Schedule Dr. Daniel's Work Address 435 College Ave. Modesto Junior College Modesto, CA 95350 209-575-6810 Me on the left, next to the two babes, Debra and Allison FYI: I earned a BS in chemistry at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, and an MA and PhD in physical chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin. My research was on gas adsorption (not absorption) and reactions on rhodium metal and I used electron spectroscopy and mass spectrometry to do it. I worked at IBM in Austin, TX and East Fishkill, NY solving problems in the development and manufacturing of circuit cards and integrated circuits (silicon chips). Part of my work involved developing Laser Desorption Mass Spec to analyze small particles. I also worked in sales with IBM in central Illinois and Flint, Michigan. I taught a night chemistry course at Mott Community College in Flint and taught physical and general chemistry at the University of Michigan in Flint for a year. My next stop was seven years at Bakersfield (CA) College where I taught the first and second semesters of general chemistry and introduction to general chemistry. I also team taught Materials Science (Engineering 45). In the Fall of 2000, I entered the promised land of Modesto and joined MJC.
