Lab One Due in Class January 28
1) Assemble the following commercial from the workparts. They are not in the correct order.
It has to sound as close to the original sample and be exactly 60 seconds in length.

2) You are to do at least a two hour shift on MJC Pirates Radio. You will turn in an aircheck of your voice work on the air for review along with the following aircheck critique completed .
This is a 20 point assignment

Lab Two Due in Class February 23
132/133 Classes will do the following:
Produce the following radio play/script. This will be done as a class project. Produce with Music/SFX/EQ
and whatever is necessary to make it sound real. You will produce one version for April Fools Day & the
other for Halloween. You may use voices from anyone in the class. This is a 50 point assignment

Lab Three Due in Class March 16

132 Classes will do the following
You will also do the following
 Spot Production-You are to write and produce (2) commercials. 1-30 & 1-60.
 You will be shown a product to write a commercial for.
 This is a 20 point assignment

Lab Four Due in Class April 6

1)132 Classes will do the following
Produce a minimum of 10 sweepers/promos for MJC Pirates Radio

2) You will voicetrac a minimum of 8 hours of on-air on Pirates Radio.
This is a 25 point assignment
 

Lab Five
Final Assignment Due April 22

YOU WILL FIND AN ON AIR JOB IN THE CLASSIFIEDS AND FOR YOUR FINAL PROJECT:

You are to design a package to impress!!

A Package to be turned in that includes the following

1) Resume & Cover Letter 
2) A copy of the ad for the job you are applying for
3) Properly Labeled CD with the following:
2-Commercials Produced (Must be new not previous assignments)
2- Produced Station Imaging Items (One a quick liner, the other a promo promoting the sound of the station)
1- Newscast (90sec minimum. Minimum 4 stories and a weathercast. )
You must turn in copies of your news stories. The original unedited & your version edited.
1- sample air check ( 60sec minimum/ 90sec maximum in length and tightly produced.)
This is worth 70 points total.

No makeup's! The final Project is due at start of class. All work must be produced in the school lab.

For extra credit record/edit an interview with someone of importance to the community
 (Up to 25 points extra credit)
At least 3 minutes in length.
