The Geology Department at MJC provides classes in the geological sciences (Physical and Historical Geology, California Geology, and Mineralogy) as well as a variety of field studies courses to Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada, the Cascades, Death Valley, the Colorado Plateau, the Pacific Northwest, and the Rocky Mountains. We also offer day trips to numerous localities in Central California. Come and join us!
