Geology 174: Geology of the Pacific Northwest and Northern Rockies |

What is it? A two week tour of some of the most spectacular scenery in the world! Stops will include Mt. St. Helens, Medicine Lake Highlands, and Newberry Crater in the Cascades, the Channeled Scablands of eastern Washington, the Columbia River Gorge, and Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Tetons National Parks in the northern Rocky Mountains. We will see some of the most ancient rocks on our continent as well as some of the most recent. This class will be taught in tandem with Anthropology 174, Archaeology Summer Field Studies.
Tentative Cost: $650
