PSA DELIVERY AND TIMING

This assignment helps develop your skills in reading with inflection while maintaining the
timing required for the broadcast industry.

Instructions:

1. Record the 3 PSA announcements on Adobe Audition software in
     the production room.

2. Do the best job you can on voice quality, inflection, expression, and clarity.

3. Use a stop watch or clock with a second hand for timing.

4. TIME TOLERANCE:    20 Sec PSA plus/minus 2 Sec.
                                               30 & 60 Sec. plus/minus 4 Secs.

5. If you wish to print out the PSA's below many students have the best luck copying the information below and pasting it into your word processor for print out.

Evaluation:

                                1. Maintain properly modulated audio levels.

                                2. Clear enunciation in delivery with no stumbling over words.

                                3.    Able to maintain your timing during deliver.
