Writing and producing a multi-voice PSA 

For this assignment you will be writing your own copy as well as making it into a finished production.   You will be producing a PSA for MJC Pirates Radio.   Along with the knowledge you have picked up during class performance and discussion on “Achieving an effect” and “Dramatic elements in Radio Production” you are now ready to write your own 30 Sec. PSA involving multi-voices.

INSTRUCTIONS:

 1.  Write and produce a 30 Sec. PSA involving two voices.

2.  Timing is to be +/- 3 Secs.  

3.  You can employ any of the production techniques that you have learned so far, or read about in your textbook.  Besides two voices you have to employ at least one other sound effect.
        (That effect could simply be appropriate background music or special effect)

 HELPFUL HINTS:

 1.  It is obviously better to have your copy ready to go along with your sound effects picked out from the production library prior to your production lab hour.  Also arrange the method of how you plan to get both voices recorded.

2.  Although this assignment can be written with fictitious information, it would be a good idea to utilize some of the excellent material you have already demonstrated in class that might lead to actual airing on the Internet through MJC Pirates Radio or MJC Video.
