                 -it should hold social significance for the audience

                 -it should not contain unclear, broad, or inflammatory language

                 -it must be something you can cover in a the 5-7 min. time frame

Main points - Worth 6 pts.

Each main point will be measured by the following criteria:

-each main point must develop your thesis statement

-you should have at least three main points, but not more than five main points

-each main point must be about one idea

-each main point must be weighted similarly

-your main points must follow a recognizable pattern (Spatial, Chronological, Topical)
