Wayne Wightman began teaching at Modesto Junior College
in 1970. In 1979 he began publishing science fiction in national and
international magazines. As well as publishing 40 stories and short novels in
this country, his work has been printed in The People’s Republic of China,
Australia, England, Germany, and Italy. A collection of his work, Ganglion
and Other Stories is currently in print. He teaches grammar, fiction
writing, and critical thinking.
