Print Subscriptions:
The
MJC Library subscribes to over 300 print periodicals (newspapers,
magazines, and journals) in a broad range of subjects.
- If you know the name of the journal, magazine, or newspaper
you want, search for that name using a Periodical Title
search in the MJC
Library Catalog.
- If you do not know the exact name of a journal you want but
know the academic discipline, you can search for it by Subject
in the MJC
Library Catalog (i.e., biology--periodicals).
- You can also search for these publications on our MJC
Library Periodicals page.
You'll
find the current issues (12 most recent issues) of our print periodicals
in the Periodicals Area of the MJC east campus and west campus
libraries. The older issues will are stored behind the Reserve/Periodicals
desk.
You
can check out periodicals except for the most recent issue. For

Electronic Journal Subscriptions:
The
MJC Library also subscribes to several Article
& Research Databases that provide the full content
of articles electronically.
- If you do not know the exact name of a journal you
want but know the article author, title, or subject search for
it in one of our subscription databases that you'll find on

page.
- If you know the title of the journal, magazine, or newspaper
you want, search for that title on our MJC
Library Periodicals page. In addition to these full-text
online journal articles, the MJC Library has online access to
several journals for which we have a print subscription. For
