Math 90 Information

Required Materials

  1. Textbook:  Algebra for College Students, by Kaufmann & Schwitters, 8th ed.  In Fall 2010, the 9th edition will be used, so used books will be hard to sell :-(.
  2. Scientific Calculator which has the functions  log x, ln x, e^x, and 10^x. These generally cost about $10-15.  Cell phones or other communication/data storage devices may not be used as a calculator.
  3. The Course Pack for Math 90, section 9553 is available for purchase in the book store.  The bookstore version is most recommended, as it contains the most updated version of all documents, and all documents are in order.  However, it can also be downloaded here, and contains the following segments
