A two-year program combining fire service training with general education courses is offered to allow the student to earn an Associate of Science degree, as well as complete the transfer requirements for four-year colleges and universities.

Students must complete the required 3 core units within the major plus 27 units from the major's core options and met the Modesto Junior College graduation requirements.
